In the Willamette Valley we have cause for celebration, as Wine Enthusiast’s Number One Wine Region in the World for 2016 for one, our dreary winter is coming to an end, and Oregon Wine Month is approaching. May marks Oregon Wine Month which kicks off with Taste Dundee Wine Celebration on Saturday, May 6, 2017.
During the Taste Dundee celebration guests can sip award-winning wines from Dundee area wineries in the Willamette Valley, paired with delicious small bites and live music for an unforgettable afternoon in the beautiful Oregon wine country.
Taste Dundee will feature 25 wineries pouring their artisan-crafted wines including Alexana Winery, Angela Estate, Aubichon Cellars, Cathedral Ridge Winery, Chapter 24, Dobbes Family Estate, Domaine Trouvere, Duck Pond Cellars, Erath Winery, The Four Graces, Fox Farm Vineyards, Hawkins Cellars, Hyland Estates, Knudsen Vineyards, Lange Estate, Mellen Meyer, Methven Family Vineyards, Panther Creek Cellars, Purple Hands Winery, Rizzo Winery, Script Cellars, Sokol Blosser Winery, Stoller Family Estate, Tertulia Cellars, and Zerba Cellars . Small bites will be served from Red Hills Market, Red Hill Provincial, The Dundee Bistro, and Babica Hen. Food trucks will be available for purchase of heartier fare.
Last year Taste Dundee tickets sold out in advance. This year is predicted to be even more popular. VIP Tickets are $50 allowing a full hour to mix and mingle with winemakers before the general admission; $30 for general admission in advance, $40 at the door if tickets are available. Taste Dundee, in its third year has come a long way from being held in a winery parking lot at Dobbes Family Estate in the first year, to the wine cellar at Dobbes, which it has outgrown. This year we are anticipating a larger attendance so will be holding it in a tent in Billick Park.
We are certain you will find new wine to love. Wine will be available for purchase at 10% discount for mixed half case (six bottles) or 20% discount for mixed case purchases (12 bottles).
